Up to 3,500 crocus bulbs planted in our forecourt!

Lymington URC welcomed Lymington Rotary to today to plant up to 3500 purple crocus’ bulbs which should bloom out and radiate on Lymington High Street between the 11th & 14th February 2017 in time for their International Rotary Day.

The carpet of crocus’ is hope to highlight the work of Rotary and their project in aiming to eradicate polio – the purple crocus is used as the emblem for this project.

Children and parents form our church Little Explorers Toddlers Group happened to be on hand to help Rotary with the planting and a very good help they were indeed!
