October Open Door

At times the World can seem an uncertain place to us. As we move from summer into autumn there is much at change in the World and in our lives. Our Church has entered vacancy and we wait and pray for God’s answer to our call.

There is much that reminds us of the uncertainty and change in the world as well. The hurricanes that have hit the Caribbean, the continuing tensions in North Korea and the ongoing talks around Brexit. How fragile our lives can seem amongst all that is going on. However, the one thing that we can be assured of is God’s unfailing, unconditional love for us. I am constantly reminded of the words of St. Paul in Romans 8:38-39

‘For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord’
