“God’s Open Door at the Centre of the Community”

"WOW  ~ I sat on the floor and we nearly ran out of milk! "

This morning we were all overjoyed to have our Church back from the builders and every  brand new seat (130?) in use, some old metal ones too, hence I and some others were sitting on the floor. So many familiar faces catching up and thrilled to see the tremendous facelift Lymington United Reformed Church has recieved over the last 14 months. The new hall was buzzing,  packed afterwards for coffee whilst everyone marvelled at the new facilities"  Thank you GOD!!!!!!

Rev'd Alan Green led a wonderful service reminding us of our position on Lymington High Street and how we must reach out and share our good fortune as christians to the community. A moving moment was during the Hymn "Lord of the Years" the congregation turned around and sung, accompanuied by Bob Cooks brilliance on the organ,  out through our new "Open Doors" to the High Street attracting another couple to come in and join us.

Smiles all round for so many and nearly a milk shortage at coffee!
